Mission

The mission of Helping Others to Overcome is to ensure that every individual who encounters a tragedy can have the ability to feed their families, have access to financial resources to help with residence retention and have access to quality care for their recovery journey. H2O is committed to every individual and family being able to focus on their recovery journey and not worry about losing the homes they have worked so hard for, along with removing the concern of not having enough food for their families and ensuring that there is quality professional and licensed therapists or counselors to talk to. Helping Others to Overcome will be in partnership with various social work agencies, case management and community organizations to ensure that families know that H2O is a part of their resources.

Vision

Building a Community of Integrity, Empowerment, and Dignity

The vision of Helping Others To Overcome (H2O) stands as a beacon of hope, a testament to the unwavering commitment, and a call to make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals and their families by providing means to remedy homelessness, rental assistance, equip with food, and quality mental health to assist with rehabilitation. At the core of our vision lies the profound belief in becoming a resource for the community where integrity, empowerment, and dignity are the guiding principles for our every interaction. Inspired by the timeless Gospel message of love, hope, and empowerment, we envision a society where all people, regardless of their background or circumstances, are recognized as valuable, respected, and given the opportunity to thrive, especially after major life changes.
